Lies, Damned Lies and Politicians
"There was a time when being caught telling lies would destroy a politician’s career" | @DalgetySusan https://t.co/yQSMbwdrRr

Susan Dalgety's opinion piece for The Scotsman focuses on the well known tendency for politicians (of all stripes) to be 'economical with the truth' when it suits their purpose.
Stands to reason that Nicola Sturgeon and Peter Murrell cannot both be telling the truth about the secretive meeting with Alex Salmond at the couple's marital home on 2 April 2018.
One says the meeting was called to discuss official Scottish Government business, the other insists its purpose was SNP party business, but it can't be both since the two issues are mutually exclusive.
