Inauguration Day Menu

I ran out of steam last night, blogging wise, but dinner had a distinctly American theme - Chilli Con Carne, Cajun Potato Salad and Corn on the Cob followed by Apple Pie and Ice Cream.

Glasgow and Washington (20/01/21)
Settling down to watch the inauguration after a hearty bowl of leek and potato soup - it's cold here in Glasgow just as it is in Washington DC!
Biden Harris Inauguration - January 20th 2021
I am declaring a local holiday in this small part of Glasgow today for the very excellent reason that today marks the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President and Vice-President of the United States of America.
I plan to watch today's events as they unfold on TV and celebrate the occasion with friends and family on both sides of the Atlantic - via Zoom and WhatsApp.
And just for fun I plan to share some of my favourite Trump posts from the blog going back over the past four years.
