Respect!
Lee Jasper is now a Respect Party activist, but he used to be an adviser to Ken Livingstone - the former London Mayor.
If I remember correctly, Lee left the Mayor's office under something of a cloud and I have heard much about him recently - until his name popped up in connection with the attempted armed mugging of Tony Blair's daughter, Kathryn, on a London street.
As news of the incident broke, Lee tweeted:
"Quoting one of me heroes I say 'Chickens coming home to roost' #ViolenceBegetsViolence".
Now the papers say the tweet is a reference to the statement from Muslim minister and human rights activist - Malcolm X - after the assassination of John F Kennedy in November 1963.
Malcolm X was, of course, himself murdered some years later - as the result of a violent feud between rival members of the Nation of Islam.
Apparently, Kathryn Blair (25) was walking her dog with a group of friends and her boyfriend near her home when she came face to face with two men - one armed with a gun - who demanded cash and jewellery before fleeing empty-handed.
Now I'm not quite sure what point Lee was making in relation to Kathryn Blair, JFK or indeed Malcolm X - but with all due respect he's clearly not the brightest button in the box.
