More Ginger Nuts

Here's what some of Scotland's politicians had to say - in the wake of Jeremy Clarkson calling Gordon Brown - then Prime Minister - a 'one-eyed Scottish idiot'.

Scottish politicians have urged the BBC to take Clarkson off air.

Lord Foulkes, a former Labour Scottish minister, said he was "outraged" at the presenter's remarks. Foulkes said: "If the BBC banned Jonathan Ross for what he said and they have taken Carol Thatcher off air for something she said in private, then something should be done about Clarkson."

Scottish Labour leader Iain Gray said: "Such a comment is really a reflection on Jeremy Clarkson and speaks for itself.

Gordon Banks, Labour MP for Ochil and South Perthshire, said the comment was "unforgivable".

So there we have it - Jeremy Clarkson gets it in the neck for behaving badly and bringing the BBC into disrepute - but the same politicians have nothing to say about their Labour colleague - Harriet Harman.
