What A Supreme Week!

Well it was this time last week when we set off for London and the UK Supreme Court judgement without any idea of the historic events that were about to unfold.
A day of high drama, powerful emotions and ultimately total vindication for the 'Sheroes' of For Women Scotland and all those supporting their hugely significant case which finally restored much needed sanity to the law.

The inevitable backlash has started, of course, there has been the usual lack of leadership from craven politicians who have fumbled and stumbled over such a very basic question - What is a woman?
But the UK Supreme Court unanimously clarified matters as far as the law is concerned - a woman is an adult human female, a biological man remains a man with or without his penis, men cannot invade women's single sex spaces - and there's no such thing as self-ID.
All things considered, a highly satisfactory outcome even though the trans lobby will try to muddy the waters by attacking the Court and its decision - one Scottish Green MSP, Maggie Chapman (who supports trans rights for 8-year-olds), has denounced the 5 judges as 'bigots'.

So the fight continues, but it was a pleasure and a privilege to be there and to play a small part in supporting women's rights against an extremely well funded (with public money) trans lobby completely dominated by ghastly, aggressive and often violent men
