A Tale of Two Nutjobs

John Swinney is no leader.

The SNP first minister calls for the Irish band Kneecap to be axed from a Glasgow music festival (TRNSMT) arguably with good cause after a video emerged reportedly showing a band member saying:

"The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP"

"up Hamas, Hezbollah"

Now John Swinney is entitled to his opinion, but as FM he's not responsible for who plays at music festivals - in Glasgow or anywhere else!

Meanwhile today in the Scottish Parliament Green MSP Maggie Chapman (who supports 'trans rights' for 8-year-olds) faces a vote of censure over her reckless and arguably dangerous remarks about the UK Supreme Court.

Chapman described the court as 'bigoted, prejudiced and hateful' after its judges ruled unanimously that biological sex is the foundation stone of all equality laws in the UK.

Chapman's remarks have been widely condemned because as an MSP she makes laws which she then expects other citizens to follow, even if they don't like the law in question.

But what does Swinney have to say about something that's happening right under his nose - has he condemned Chapman and called for her resign as deputy convener of Holyrood's equalities committee, has he asked his SNP colleagues to vote against Chapman?

The answer is NO - which is why Swinney is useless as a leader and why Holyrood is turning into a laughing stock - a 'Pretendy Parliament' under the SNP.
