Union Leaders and Anti-Women Trans Activists

Jo Grady. boss of the University and College Union (UCU), says:

"UCU and the trade union movement will protect and stand with trans people, whether the law cares or not."

Grassroots union members expect their leaders to obey the law and stop dancing to the tune of extremist, anti-women trans activists who believe that men can self-ID and magically declare they have become female.

If I remember correctly, the UCU union called for Edinburgh University to ban both planned screenings of Adult Human Female - a documentary film about women's rights and the importance of single sex spaces.

Now this speaks volumes about trade union attitudes to freedom of speech and their lack of support for members opposed to self-ID and gender ideology - who form the vast majority of the membership of course.

The union also took the side of an angry mob of trans activists instead of standing up for one of their own members, Kathleen Stock, who was on the receiving end of a vile campaign of harassment and intimidation at Sussex University.

Something of a Mickey Mouse union - if you ask me!
