Great interview with Bethany, one of the Darlington nurses who is challenging the local NHS decision to allow men to self-ID their way into women's single sex spaces including changing areas. Bethany was very measured, reasonable and articulate - just the sort of person you'd have in mind to be a local union rep! Astonishing the BBC interviewer never asked about the lack of trade union support for the nurses - surely the unions aren't in cahoots with the employer?

Christina McAnea replaced Davie Prentis to become Unison's first female general secretary. But Christina, a Glaswegian, has been a big disappointment - she has failed to defend Unison's women members whose single sex spaces and rights at work are under attack from self-ID and the trans lobby.

Scotland's Faculty of Advocates has condemned the behaviour of Green MSP Maggie Chapman who in an ill-judged outburst at the weekend called the UK Supreme Court 'bigoted, prejudiced and hateful'. "These are appalling comments to come from any elected politician. They are all the worse when they come from someone who holds the post of Deputy Convenor of the Scottish Parliament's Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee.
