The Smirk Should Go!
So much for Humza Yousaf's declaration that the matter was at an end. Holyrood bosses find Michael Matheson broke rule on "improper use" of parliamentary expenses

Michael Matheson breached MSP's code of conduct https://t.co/txO0LD93A6
So the smirk has been well and truly wiped from Michael Matheson's face with the news that the former SNP health secretary did indeed break the MSP's code of conduct.
Now this seemed obvious to pretty much everyone except the SNP leader Humza Yousaf who unwisely defended his colleague for months.
Surely Matheson must resign as the SNP MSP for Falkirk West - he has zero credibility after denying everything and clinging on for all this time?
Such a pity the Scottish Parliament does not have a right of recall over MSPs even though the House of Commons does have such a power over Westminster MPs.
The Smirk Has Gone! (February 08, 2024)
So yet another chapter ends in the tawdry life of the SNP with the news that Michael Matheson, Scotland's health minister, has finally resigned over his handling of an £11,000 bill for his iPad.
Humza Yousaf should go to for his ill-judged defence of this two-faced minister who tired to spin and lie his way out of a self-inflicted scandal.
