Sinister Police Overreach
My tweet that @MurdoFraser requoted and was subsequently reported for a hate crime for doing so. Next Monday, April Fool's Day, the SNP govt's new Hate Crime law comes into force...https://t.co/56JhMe1EPX https://t.co/kKfTTdCXjr

The job of the police is to investigate crimes and criminal behaviour - and help bring alleged perpetrators to justice.
Yet in Scotland the police are taking it upon themselves to keep records of 'incidents' even when they find no criminal offence has been committed.
Now this is sinister and is further evidence that Humza Yousaf's controversial hate crime act is being weaponised for political ends.
With the support of @SpeechUnion I am challenging @PoliceScotland policy in recording ‘hate incidents’ as unlawful. Here’s why: pic.twitter.com/0MAMq28jeY
