How would the Chief Executive of the SNP, Peter Murrell, have the authority to spend £110,000 on a top of the range motor home without prior approval from the SNP Treasurer, the party's National Executive or its finance committee?
Something doesn't add up.
Colin Beattie now says he learned the party splashed £110k on a motorhome "via the 2021 annual acounts". As it arrived in Jan 2021 (when D Chapman was treasurer) and Mr Beattie signed off the accounts in June 2022, it seems no one told him for than a yearhttps://t.co/lGUEjTdYmx pic.twitter.com/T1DzsMwV4e
