Chauffeur Driven Backbencher


A few readers have pointed out that Nicola Sturgeon being chauffeured around the place may not be that unreasonable because, after all, the former first minister hasn't learned to drive.

Well maybe so, but why doesn't she just  jump a cab like everyone else - or get hubby Peter to give her a lift, especially as Pete's no longer doing his day job as SNP chief executive?

Why is a backbench SNP MSP being chauffeur-driven around when she is not even attending to her day job in the Scottish Parliament?
