Scottish Comedy - In The Doldrums

I'm sure there must be lots of Scottish comedians who find all this self-ID malarkey really funny. 

But our best known comics seem to be SNP fans which makes them reluctant to poke some much needed fun at SNP ministers on a wide range of topical issues.

Scotland's ghost ferries and the great census fiasco spring to mind although my Top 10 would include the nonsense of men self-identifying as women - in sport, for example.

So where is Scotland's answer to Ricky Gervais, Dave Chappelle and Bill Maher?

TRAs and Far-Right Fascists (May 27, 2022)

I'm just dying to hear trans activists (TRAs) attack Bill Maher, Dave Chappelle and Ricky Gervais for being far-right fascists - a laughable claim they use regularly to smear women standing up for their rights and in defence of single sex spaces.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
