Everyone knows that all the talk about indyref2 is just a lot of hot air and as Alex Massie points out it's the people of Scotland who are blocking the SNP by withholding their support for another referendum.

Hugh Fearnley Whitingstall is one of my favourite - and endearingly bonkers - TV chefs.
