Sturgeon, Selfies and Photo Shoots
Exclusive: Nicola Sturgeon’s approval ratings have plunged since the height of the pandemic with her domestic record on health and education thought to be putting a dent in her popularity https://t.co/jJTdKjTPMC

No wonder the First Minister's poll ratings have dropped like a stone - Sturgeon's focus should be on the day and crisis in the NHS, not selfies and photo shoots.
Giz A Job' - 'Get Me Out Of Here!' (November 24, 2021)
I enjoyed Alex Massie's piece in The Times about life after Nicola Sturgeon, in particularly Gary Smith's comment about the FM's 'desperately seeking selfies' campaign at COP26
To her critics this was not much more than, as Gary Smith, the Scottish head of the GMB general trade union put it, a “fortnight of self-indulgence”. Smith accused Sturgeon of “chasing after delegates with an iPhone and a can of Irn-Bru while the services for which she has direct responsibility are in peril”. He added, waspishly: “If you didn’t know any better you’d think the first minister was preparing for life after politics.”
Shameless Ministers, Covid and COP26 (November 10, 2021)
After swanning around Glasgow for the past two weeks, chasing 'selfies' and shamelessly using COP26 to promote Nicola Sturgeon, I suspect this threat from SNP ministers will go down very badly.
Do they really think our heads button up the back?
