Scotland's Councils - Wheeshting For Indy?

I remember the good old bad old days when Scottish Councils and council leaders stood up to Scottish Ministers by championing the interests of their local communities - without fear or favour.

Are SNP council leaders deliberately not rocking the boat and 'wheeshting for Indy'?

I think we should be told because things have reached a pretty pass if Scottish councils have become so tame that they're afraid to call a spade a spade and stand up to SNP ministers.

For some reason Lesley Riddoch, a very experienced journalist, has a dig at the Scottish Conservatives instead of concentrating her fire on the Scottish Government and SNP Ministers responsible for this debacle.

I have to say all this 'wheeshting for indy' stuff is nonsense and the reluctance of nationalists to call a spade a spade is wearing a bit thin!

Let's just call a spade a spade

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
