The Inverness Courier with an update on public reaction to the imposition of unisex toilets at Culloden Academy - not surprising I have to say and explains why this policy was introduced over the summer break without consulting the school's pupils and parents.

More news on the U-turn at Culloden Academy where a backlash from pupils and parents forced a U-turn on unisex toilets - imposed on the school over the summer break without any discussion, consultation or agreement.

Could this become a model for dealing with controversial issues under the SNP/Scottish Greens pact?

 

Parent and Pupils Force Rethink (August 21, 2021)

Highland Council have been forced to rethink the imposition of unisex toilets at Culloden Academy after an outcry from parents and pupils.

A good thing too if you ask me, but what an arrogant way for the school and council to behave.

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
