Ant and Dec showcase the hit TV programme 'Britain's Got Talent, but according to this piece in The Telegraph these two cheeky chappies seem to have decided that Ed Miliband hasn't got what it takes to run the country.

Now these boys from the north can spot a winner when the see one and they were bowled over when Scotland's Susan Boyle burst on to our TV screens in 2009 in what was a remarkable life-changing performance before an initially sceptical audience.

One of the best moments you'll ever see on live TV.

TV presenters Ant and Dec have criticised Labour and questioned whether Ed Miliband is suitable to lead the country.

The pair described themselves as “staunchly Labour” in an interview with The Times but said they did not know what the party stood for any more.

Declan Donnelly told the paper: “'I'm not sure I could picture him [Ed Miliband] as prime minister.”

It comes amid claims the Labour leader has moved the party to the Left after Tony Blair and Gordon Brown kept power for 13 years under the tag of New Labour.

Ant and Dec join other celebrities who have publicly expressed disillusionment with the current Labour Party in the run up to the election.

Bill Oddie, the wildlife TV presenter, suggested he would be abandoning the party for the Greens over the mansion tax while singer Myleene Klass criticised the same policy, telling Mr Miliband: “You can’t just point at things and tax them.”

Ant McPartlin said: “I voted Labour all my life. But last election I voted Tory because I was thoroughly disillusioned with the Labour government.

“Now I'm thoroughly disillusioned with a coalition government. I feel we're both staunchly Labour and would vote Labour if we could, but I don't know what their philosophy is any more.'

His Britain's Got Talent co-star, Mr Donnelly, said: "I'm not sure I could picture him [Ed Miliband] as prime minister."

The pair also criticised the current set of political television shows but dismissed the idea of getting leaders in front of the Britain's Got Talent judges before the election.

Mr McPartlin: 'If you're a family in Middlesbrough and you're watching grown men arguing on the TV, you're not going to know what the parties stand for, just two men trying to get the better of each other. I can't stand it. No wonder people don't relate.'
