Sore Losers
Manchester United Football Club are such sore losers.
If the Champions League had a special category for 'worst loser', there's no doubt that Sir Alex Ferguson and his team would romp home every year - by a country mile.
And to add insult to injury the Real Madrid manager - Jose Mourinho - then speaks with a forked tongue by announcing that 'the best team lost'.
All of which means that Jose Mourinho - who also hates to be on the losing side of course - must have done a deal to take over at Old Trafford in the next year or so - once Sir Alex Ferguson finally decides to hang up his boots.
Sky Sports ran a series of 'kung-fu' style tackles from previous football games - similar to the one which got the Manchester United forward - Nani - sent off.
In most, if not all, of the examples shown by Sky Sports - the player with his studs raised and foot in the air received a red card as well - for crashing recklessly into an opposing player.
So what's all this nonsense about Nani's 'dangerous play' meriting only a yellow card?
The story goes that were it not for this 'crazy' refereeing decision - the Manchester club would have run out as well deserved winners and gone to lift the trophy as well.
All of which is complete baloney - except the point about Mourinho becoming the next manager of Manchester United.
And when that happens, remember - you heard it here first.
