Compare and Contrast - NHS Nurses vs NHS Bureaucrats

The Scottish Daily Express explains the details of the sweet early retirement package being made available to the outgoing chief executive of NHS Fife.

"According to the latest NHS Fife accounts, Ms Potter's pension had a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) of £1,338,000 at March 31, 2025, having had £103,000 paid into her pension last year. When she reaches pension age, she will be entitled to £55-£60,000 a year, as well as a lump sum of £150-£155,000."

If I remember correctly, the lump sum amount is 'tax free'.

Compare and contrast this with the way NHS Fife has treated Sandie Peggie, an dedicated nurse with 30 years of unblemished service.
