Glasgow Carers - Women Working Alone

Home carers in Glasgow stage a protest at the City Chambers - the predominantly female workforce is fearful for its safety working alone at night.

No wonder more and more home carers are choosing to work in residential care homes.

Here's an astonishing email which has been sent to the 'Council Family' at Glasgow City Council by the council's chief executive Annemarie O'Donnell.
