SNP Bad!
A rare display of honesty from a former politician, ex- SNP health minister Jeanne Freeman, who says successive governments are to blame for the poor state of the NHS.
And given the SNP has been in power for 20 years it stands to reason that John Swinney & Co cannot point the finger elsewhere.
The NHS has more money, more staff and more resources than ever before - yet many Scots are still waiting for too long for important treatments, forcing people to go private.
"Former health secretary Jeanne Freeman has said the current state of the NHS in Scotland is the result of failures by successive governments – including her own."Freeman said politicians never took a long-term view beyond the next election on how the service should be managed and improved."
