Broken Systems and Failed Asylum Seekers


Interesting Sky News report on Shabana Mahmood's  package of tough new migration rules based on a system that's already operating In Denmark.

Mahmood sounds like a politician who really believes what she's saying which makes a change.

Why would anyone defend a broken UK system which does not remove asylum seekers, if their applications for asylum are refused?

Here's an astonishing email which has been sent to the 'Council Family' at Glasgow City Council by the council's chief executive Annemarie O'Donnell.
