Women's Rights - A Class Issue

Lots of excellent contributions in the latest edition of The Frontline including this opinion piece from Joani Reid on why the fight to defend women's rights is a class issue.

"Working-class women understand instinctively why women's spaces and safeguarding matter. I haven't met one woman on the doorstep who considers gender ideology as anything other than dangerous and peddled by those who don't grasp the realities facing non-privileged women. 

"Yet women of the so-called left, elected representatives no less, fight against single-sex spaces whilst championing sex workers' rights to 'live as they choose'."

Indeed, well said Joani - how refreshing to hear a Labour politician speaking out against this self-ID/gender ideology baloney!
