The Real Cost Of Wind Energy

Excellent, informative post from Sam Taylor which explains that the true cost of wind energy is much higher than John Swinney & Co claim.

The reason being that windfarms such as Dorenell get paid for producing energy which is never consumed by anyone so the real cost is actually three times higher than the figure claimed by SNP ministers, ie £227/MWh not £83/MWh.

Anyone for evidenced based policy-making and good, non-partisan government?
