Well Done - For Women Scotland!

SNP ministers tried to change the definition of a woman to allow men who self-ID as female to be counted as women - for the purpose of evaluating membership of Scotland's public bodies and quangos.

SNP ministers argued that a public body could be regarded as 'balanced' from a 50/50 male to female perspective even if the 50% group of women were made up of men who self-identify as women.

Bonkers or what?

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
