'Honest John' Swinney sounds like Neil Kinnock on a bad day with his long-winded answers which refuse to explain how the SNP can lose support and seats in a general election - and still claim a mandate for IndyRef2!

Laura Kuenssberg is right of course - Swinney and the SNP can't have it both ways!

SNP - 'Mr&Mrs' Politburo

Jim Sillars is spot on about the dreadful personality cult which allowed Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon to run the SNP as a 'Mr & Mrs' tag team for years. What's astonishing is that SNP members - party activists, councillors, MSPs and MPs - turned a blind eye to things for so long  which helps explain why the SNP is in such a terrible mess today.
