Election News - Glasgow North, Iris Duane
The Greens are the wackiest of all Scotland's political parties when it comes to self-ID though to be fair the SNP do run them very close.
Not only has the Green candidate in Glasgow North not responded to my recent letter - he has blocked me on social media presumably for having the temerity to ask a perfectly reasonable question.
I think it's fair to say I won't be voting Green on July 4th.
Scotland's Looney Tunes Greens (June 18, 2024)
How this for a laugh!
Iris Duane is a man who self-IDs as a woman and he's standing as the Green party candidate in Glasgow North
I contacted all 7 candidates to ask for their views on the Cass Review, women's rights and self-ID, but find Iris has blocked me on social media.
What a way for a supposedly democratic party to behave.
Glasgow North - Women's Rights and Self-ID (June 14, 2024)
I am contacting all of the election candidates in Glasgow North to ask them where they stand on defending women's rights and self-ID
How they answer will help me decide how to cast my vote:
Dear Naveed, Helen, Iris, Nick, Daniel, Martin and Alison
Glasgow North Election - Women's Rights and Self-ID
I live in Glasgow North constituency (address supplied).
I would like to know your position on the Cass Review, women's rights and the controversial policy of self-ID which would allow men into women's single sex spaces.
I look forward to your reply which will influence how I cast my vote.
