McMinnville y Barcelona!

I had a great meeting last week with Dr Jennifer Madden, the Dean of Linfield University's School of Business - what an impressive, professional, spirited lady!

Turns out Dr Madden organises a work experience visit for her students to Barcelona every year, a city I travel to on a regular basis as well.

So we hope to host a dinner for the McMinnville students later this year if we can work out the logistics.

But what an amazing, wonderful coincidence!

Kentucky Fried Seagull

Hugh Fearnley Whitingstall is one of my favourite - and endearingly bonkers - TV chefs. The River Cottage chef has a some imaginative ideas for adding seagulls to the national diet - including a recipe for Kentucky Fried Seagull - would you believe.
