Violence Against Women and Girls
SNP leader of Glasgow City Council talks tough about the safety of women and girls, but SNP politicians have had nothing to say about the failure of the criminal justice system to protect women and girls - from alleged and convicted rapists - via the Scottish courts.

Four courageous young women - Hannah McLaughlan, Jennifer McCann, Holly Prowse and Hannah Reid - waived their rights to anonymity to highlight the case of a dangerous serial rapist who has been given a reduced sentence due to the offender being under 26.
Hannah Reid, 23, tweeted: “He raped me from the ages of 15 to 17. Went on to rape a further four victims. We have a life sentence of trauma and PTSD. He can’t be rehabilitated.”SNP - Soft On Crime, Soft On The Causes of Crime (2) (July 10, 2023)

How can a 16-year-old male not be prosecuted for such a serious crime as rape?
Kaitlyn Ward was 14 at the time she was attacked and is rightly critical of Scotland's criminal justice system:
“This has left me feeling like there isn’t a justice system at all. It was a complete kick in the teeth and made me think if a crime is going to happen to me again is there any point in reporting it?"
Strangely Scotland's SNP/Green led government say that 16-year-old males are old and mature enough to change their sex under the law via a hotly contested process of self-identification.
The SNP/Greens should be ashamed of themselves.
