Tackling Violence Against Women


Can you imagine the uproar from the Greens if Patrick Harvie had been punched in the eye at a peaceful public event - and his assailant had been allowed to walk away Scot-free and not been charged with assault? 

Police Scotland have serious questions to answer and Scotland's political leaders should be on their case too!

Including Patrick Harvie, of course.

Fair comment from Calum Steele on the bizarre behaviour of Police Scotland whose officers failed to prosecute a man who violently assaulted a woman in Aberdeen.

Where are the words of condemnation from Scotland's politicians - particularly the SNP and Greens?

The Greens - A National Embarrassment (July 24, 2023)

The Greens are fast becoming a national embarrassment to Scotland - this goth chap self-IDs as a woman and led a group of trans activists to disrupt and harass a Women Won't Wheesht event in Aberdeen at which one woman was punched and hurt.

What do the leaders of the Greens and the SNP have to say about this nonsense because the physical violence and intimidation is coming from only one side - trans crazies and their allies.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
