But an arbitrary ban on using fossil fuels is not rational. Even if it were achievable it would make very little difference to global emissions."   Fair comment.

Glasgow based business-man Willie Haughey pours cold water on Patrick Harvie's plan to force Scots to replace gas boilers with noisy, expensive, inefficient heat pumps. Will Humza Yousaf and the SNP continue to support this Green 'eco-nonsense' - or will common sense prevail over ideology?      

Glasgow's SNP/Green Council has just announced that the city's regular bonfire night fireworks display has been axed for the foreseeable future. At the same time the SNP/Green led Scottish government provides Glasgow with an extra £500,000 to 'improve' trans health care - I wonder how this unexpected windfall will be spent? Because Yousaf has no credibility, as SNP leader or First Minister, after being installed as leader by the discredited Sturgeon/Murrell regime who pulled out all the stops (fair and foul) to get their man the top job - and still he only won by the slimmest of margins. 

Some music videos are classics of the genre while others are complete turkeys devoid of any imagination or style.  Sadly The Killers and 'Human' fall into the latter category - great song though!

Where are the words of condemnation from Scotland's politicians - particularly the SNP and Greens? The Greens - A National Embarrassment ( July 24, 2023 ) The Greens are fast becoming a national embarrassment to Scotland - this goth chap self-IDs as a woman and led a group of trans activists to disrupt and harass a Women Won't Wheesht event in Aberdeen at which one woman was punched and hurt. What do the leaders of the Greens and the SNP have to say about this nonsense because the physical violence and intimidation is coming from only one side - trans crazies and their allies.   

Can you imagine the uproar from the Greens if Patrick Harvie had been punched in the eye at a peaceful public event - and his assailant had been allowed to walk away Scot-free and not been charged with assault?  Police Scotland have serious questions to answer and Scotland's political leaders should be on their case too! Nat West is all over the news these days - and for all the wrong reasons after a bonkers decision to cancel certain customers - if the bank's big wigs disapproved of their views. Coincidentally, I wrote to Howard Davies, Chair of the NatWest group,   to complain about customers' money being used to promote gender ideology and maintain the bank's ludicrous association with the controversial lobbying group, Stonewall.  I don't have a problem with people paying for private healthcare, but I do think they should do so with their own money - I also objected to Nat West using my money to promote self-ID and other such trans baloney.  I didn't get a reply from Mr Davies so I closed my NatWest account which I'd had for over 30 years and took my business elsewhere.
