Hapless Humza Strikes Again

Image
Hapless Humza's early days as Scotland's first minister are proving to be as adept as his handling of high speed knee-scooter.

Trans Toddlers and Gender Zealots

Image
Julie Bindel responds to the  claim from gender zealots that: "children as young as 2 recognise their trans identity." 'Bonkers, beyond belief' - is completely justified in the circumstances, yet schools in Scotland are now promoting this nonsense.

Humza Yousaf - Living Down To Expectations

Image
Alison Rowat had a great piece in The Herald on Humza Yousaf's 'Pyhrric victory' in the SNP leadership election:   "We are in a worse place, stuck with a First Minister with a margin of victory so slim he has been branded a loser in many quarters." "Humza Yousaf introduced himself as the luckiest man in the  world , but it was a struggle to share his optimism. He was like a man who had won a fabulous mansion in a raffle only to find it was perched on the end of a fast-crumbling cliff." "There was a school of thought, albeit a teeny tiny totey one, that this leadership contest, bruising as it was, would be good for Mr Yousaf. A little humbling never hurt anyone." "He had spent the past month and a half hearing how fed up people were with the party’s focus on independence while life in general grew harder every day. And what did he do with that knowledge? He ignored it.  "He was as tin-eared as only a  politics  graduate who has never h...

Trans Ideology In Scotland's Schools

Image
"How to be a Girl" which is being pitched at schools as an educational resource was condemned by a senior child psychologist as “potentially very harmful psychologically”. Carolyn Brown, former depute principal educational psychologist for Fife council, https://t.co/AUstI6oJXF … — For Women Scotland (@ForWomenScot) March 30, 2023 The Times reports that trans ideology on young children allegedly being 'born in the wrong body' is now being imported into Scotland's schools - courtesy of SNP ministers. Humza Yousaf did the same thing of course by encouraging the absurd policy of self-ID and placing male prisoners in Scotland's female prison estate.

SNP Conservative Alliance

Woah... the SNP member of the Commons Standards Committee, Allan Dorans, joined with 3 Tory MPs to try to reduce the suspension of Margaret Ferrier from 30 days to 9 days - which would have allowed her to keep her seat and avoid a byelection Minutes: pic.twitter.com/Vb6i8hynXU — Chris Musson (@ChrisMusson) March 30, 2023 Chris Musson has a great story in the Scottish Sun about the SNP and Tories working   together at Westminster in an effort to avoid an early by-election in Margaret Ferrier's seat of Rutherglen and Hamilton South. Ferrier won the seat for the SNP in 2019 but now faces the prospect of a parliamentary by-election after breaking Covid lockdown rules.

New Leader, Same Old SNP Spin

Image
Morten Morland's cartoon for The Times hit the perfect note over the SNP's leadership campaign. Scotland has a new First Minister who claims to speak for the whole country yet in reality speaks for only 52% of his own party - based on a low turnout of just 69.97% of SNP members. Yousaf has no mandate.

Humza Yousaf - Is No Cabinet-Maker

Image
Humza Yousaf has never had a real job in his life. Scotland's new First Minister has been in politics since leaving university at the tender age of 21. The Herald's cartoonist Steven Camley has the measure of a man who has never been a butcher, baker and certainly not a cabinet-maker. Scotland is being governed by career politicians like Humza who have no track record of achievement or accomplishment - yet are expert at telling the rest of us how to run our lives.    SNP In Meltdown ( March 29, 2023 ) So the SNP old guard got its way with the narrowest of  election victories (52 to 48%) to install Humza Yousaf as SNP leader. Yousaf's first big decision was to sack his closest rival (Kate Forbes) and appoint a fellow Dundonian and close friend of Nicola Sturgeon (Shona Robison) as his deputy. The Herald's cartoonist Steven Camley has a great take on the events of the past few weeks.

All Roads Lead to Dundee

In the good old bad old days of the Roman Empire it used to be said that 'all roads lead to Rome'. The modern equivalent in SNP Scotland seems to be that 'all roads lead to Dundee'. Because that's where Humxa Yousaf now lives - nowhere near his constituency seat of Glasgow Pollok, some 81 miles and a two hour car journey away. To add insult to injury Yousaf has now appointed another Dundonian as his Deputy First Minister - Shona Robison, a great friend of Nicola Sturgeon, who used to be married to the SNP Westminster MP Stewart Hosie. Interestingly Humza Yousaf's wife (Nadia El Nakla) used to be employed by Shona Robison MSP until she gave the job up last year when she was elected as an SNP councillor in Dundee. Meanwhile 'Hapless' Humza has brought back from the cold another Dundee MSP, Joe Fitzpatrick, who was sacked by Nicola Sturgeon for his incompetence and inability to tackle over Scotland's appalling record as the drug deaths capital of Europe...

Men, Women and Single Sex Spaces

Image
A timely reminder from the blog archive that just days ago Humza Yousaf was asking a group of Ukrainian women: 'Where are all the men?'  But in relation to a Humza led, male-only prayer session at Bute House the big question now is: 'Where are all the women?' 'Where Are All The Men?' ( March 17, 2023 ) Fair comment by the Scottish Sun - how can someone with aspirations to become Scotland's First Minister make such a complete arse of himself? The problem with Humza is that his political ambitions far outweigh his abilities.

Where Are All The Women?

Image
Welcome to 21st Century Scotland. So glad we didn't end up with some performatively religious woman like Kate Forbes performing strange rituals in Bute House. Yes, I too was wondering where the women were. "Where are all the men?" Bute House is where.👇 pic.twitter.com/cMMrpxDgDr — Malcolm Clark (@TwisterFilm) March 29, 2023 Fair point from Malcom Clark about this photo of Humza Yousaf the and male members of his family joined in prayer. Where are all the women - is Humza a secret supporter of single sex spaces?

Standing Up To The Angry Mob

#LetWomenSpeakAuckland #NewProfilePic pic.twitter.com/uC0BXP2LRc — Standing For Women #AdultHumanFemale (@StandingforXX) March 25, 2023 Always good to remember - she who laughs last laughs longest. Misogyny and violence towards women it turning the tife of opinion against t.rans zealots, self-ID and men magically declaring themselves to be women

Standing Up To The Angry Mob

Oh they are ever so kind and respectful - how would you feel if that was your nan!!! #LetWomenSpeak https://t.co/6uCNtQUi5F — Jennifer Thetford-Kay (@JenKteach) March 26, 2023 Trans bullies are their own worst enemy and their angry mob behaviour has helped turn the tide of opinion in support of women's rights and single sex spaces - and against the nonsense of self-ID, gender ideology and men magically declaring they can change their sex.

The Trans Lobby and Violence Against Women

Image
Is the trans lobby sheltering this moron (and others like him) who held up banners inciting violence against women at a recent trans lobby in Glasgow?   Mystery Man vs Gaystapo Man ( March 06, 2023 ) Isn't it interesting that when a 'nutjob' tried to latch on to a 'LetWomenSpeak' rally in George Square he was quickly identified and exposed as Max Dunbar - a man with links to the BNP. Yet another moron with apparent links to the trans lobby is still a 'man of mystery' - unless I've missed something in the media or from Police Scotland.      'Gaystapo' Man Exposed ( February 13, 2023 ) I can't be the only person to find it odd that Glasgow's 'GAYSTAPO' moron was quickly reported and exposed as Max Dunbar, a former member of the BNP. Yet no one has yet identified the 'DECAPITATE TERFS' moron whose banner came from the Bonjour pub in Glasgow's Saltmarket.   Decapitate Terfs ( February 13, 2023 ) Still no independent confir...

Inciting Violence Against Women

Image
“Our enquiries are complete and no one has been arrested …” Interesting choice of words @PoliceScotland … 1. What efforts were made to identify the individual? 2. Was there ever any public appeal for information? 3. Was the individual identified but no action taken? pic.twitter.com/zd5uT7Op8W — Aviemore (@Fyrishsunset) March 25, 2023 Here's a jaw dropping piece of news - the Daily Mail reports that Police Scotland have apparently been unable to identify the morons who held up banners inciting violence against women at a recent trans rally in Glasgow. I think the public are entitled to a better explanation of what lengths the police went to in their investigations because the chap holding up the 'DECAPITATE TERFS' banner is allegedly living in the centre of Glasgow. I intend raising the matter with my local SNP MSP, Kaukab Stewart, who is pictured in the photo below wearing a yellow hat.

'Trans Women Are Men' - It's Official

World Athletics to exclude transgender women from female events - Sky News https://t.co/2vmrBDpmjs — Somhairlín 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@AirsonAlba) March 23, 2023 Great news for fair competition in women's sport - World Athletics body has agreed that male bodied athletes must compete against other male bodied athletes in their own sex class. A victory for common sense and sporting values.      Totally disingenuous (and responses turned off) like other males trans women can qualify to compete against people with the same biology & have fair sport there. They are not banned from sport. Or we can have open respectful debate which u have tried your best to stop, to add… https://t.co/tWHP5907GR — Sharron Davies MBE (@sharrond62) March 23, 2023

Humza 'Popinjay' Yousaf

Image
I've realised what this is. It's the political equivalent of trying to get a first date and your mates giving you a bit a steer on the sort of things girls like, cos you've not really talked to any before. https://t.co/5eQHnFpsod — Lucy HunterBlackburn (@LucyHunterB) March 23, 2023 Lucy Hunter Blackburn has a great feel for Scottish politics and wicked sense of humour to match. Can the ridiculous popinjay Humza Yousaf become even more embarrassing and absurd?

Humza Yousaf's Greatest 'Hits'

Image
🔺Exclusive: Patients in Scotland now face waiting up to seven years for surgery as new analysis reveals Sturgeon’s NHS recovery plan is years behind track. https://t.co/R8z6q8cBy0 — TimesEditorScotland (@magnusllewellin) March 24, 2023 It's frightening to think that if Humza Yousaf becomes Scotland's First Minister, his CV to date will include his ministerial roles in: Scotland's ghost ferries scandal Embedding self-ID in the Scottish Prisons Service   Creating the longest ever waiting times in Scotland's NHS

Scotland, Self-ID, Pigeons and Playing Chess

Some questions for @glasgowcathcart : 1. Is the be-penised rapist you coyly call "the individual" a man or a woman? 2. Do you agree with @HumzaYousaf that convicted rapists should NOT be excluded from applying for a gender recognition certificate? 1/3 https://t.co/buBd3DhFM8 — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) March 24, 2023 I admire JK Rowling's tenacity in trying to have a reasoned, rational debate with the MSP for Glasgow Cathcart, James Dornan - a man who, for very good reason, never threw his hat in the ring to become Scotland's First Minister. Must feel like playing chess with a pigeon. If the SNP continues with its support for self-ID and the absurd policy of men magically declaring themselves to be women, I predict it will be the party's undoing in the years ahead. 6. Lastly, do you and @HumzaYousaf believe legislation that enables fully intact males with a history of sexual violence to apply for a gender recognition certificate comes with no risk to vulnera...
