So Joe Fitzpatrick has resigned, but as a Glasgow MSP Nicola Sturgeon bears more responsibility, arguably, for the Scottish Government's failure over drug deaths.
Not least because Fitzpatrick has only been public health minister since 2018 - whereas Nicola has been First Minister and Deputy First Minister of Scotland since 2007.

He was facing a motion of no confidence from opposition MSPs but has "agreed that I should leave government".
