Charlie Hebdo commemorates the murderous attacks in Paris a year ago today with a typically challenging front page depicting those who kill in the name of their religion as being at large still and on the run, as God with a Kalishnikov strapped to his back.

Now that is funny and although the attack is an religion generally, few people can be in any doubt that the challenge of out times liess combatting the barbarity of Islamist extremism.
