If It Wisnae For Your Wellies
A politician's choice of clothes or footwear not something to get excited about if you ask me, although I draw the line at anyone who wears socks with open-toe sandals.
But not everyone shares this view, apparently, and in recent days some of the more childish elements in the media, including social media, have been trying to convince their supporters that David Cameron's and Nicola Sturgeon's choice of Wellington boots (inexpensive v expensive) has some sort of wider significance for the country at large.
All of which goes to show that modern politicians can't let their guard down for a moment , they are under scrutiny 24/7 whether they like it or not, because there are always people sniping from the sidelines trying to make a political point.
