Responding to Terrorism

 As we are already at 'war' with the mad dogs of the Islamic State in Iraq, I cannot see how it makes anything other than sense to extend UK operations into Syria since the terrorists do not recognise international borders anyway.

 The Syrian Government has clearly lost control of the country and all the other non-military measures proposed against IS and other terrorists groups can proceed alongside targeted strikes which potentially degrade and destroy their capability on the ground.    

 The United Nations is supporting France in its efforts to tackle IS and the wider  terrorist menace and having weighed up all the arguments so too should the UK.
