Can't Win/Won't Win?

I don't know for sure who is behind the 1001 Campaign, but they appear to be Labour supporters, perhaps even party members, who are convinced that Ed Miliband can't win/won't win the general election in 2015.

I suspect they're right and that the very best Labour can hope for is to be the largest party based on 33/34% of the popular vote although even that is looking less and less likely these days, as the Labour lead in the opinion polls dwindles away to zero.

The main opposition party should be firmly in the lead at this stage in the electoral cycle and it speaks volumes that Labour are just neck and neck with the Tories, even after all the unpopular decisions that the Coalition Government at Westminster has had to make.

In Scotland, the SNP still has a commanding lead over Labour which is unprecedented for a party of government that has been in power since 2007, so while I disagree with the SNP on a number of fronts, it stands to reason that they must be getting some things right.
