Three Loving Parents

Now here's a clever cartoon from Morten Morland in the Times which manages to combine two completely unrelated news stories.

One was about scientists finding a way to replace a damaged DNA with healthy DNA to create a potentially healthy baby - albeit one which technically has three parents.

The second story was about the careful repositioning of Labour under Ed Miliband and Ed Balls - and the party's acceptance of the future spending programme laid out by the Chancellor - George Osborne - on behalf of the Coalition Government.

Now there's a thing you don't see every day - the announcement of a major economic policy with the Tories, Lib Dems and Labour all playing the role of loving parents.
