Glasgow 'War Zone'?

Glasgow City Council's new drug consumption room has got off to a predictably poor start as local residents in  Calton complain the facility has led to a rise in discarded needles and other drugs paraphernalia being dumped in the area.

I wonder if any of the Glasgow councillors involved in making this decision actually live in Calton?
