Fireball and Fireball XL5!

 Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Liqueur, 1 L

I had the 'pleasure' of discovering a hitherto unknown alcoholic drink during my recent visit to Oregon.


Fireball is a sweet and spicy mix of whisky and cinnamon which reminded me of my schooldays because as kids we used to buy cinnamon balls with our pocket money.


Fireball also conjured up memories of a ground-breaking children’s TV programme from the 1960s - Fireball XL5, an exciting sci-fi space adventure in which Colonel Steve Zodiac & Co defended Planet Earth from a menacing alien threat.


Speaking from personal experience both Fireballs are not to be messed with lightly.
