Private Eye, the UK's best and only fortnightly satirical magazine, has some fun with the news that Nicola Sturgeon is to stand down from the Scottish Parliament in 2026.

Presumably the comment about 'spending less time with her family' is a reference to Peter Murrell, Nicola's recently estranged husband who has been charged with embezzling party funds from the SNP.

Kentucky Fried Seagull

Hugh Fearnley Whitingstall is one of my favourite - and endearingly bonkers - TV chefs.
