The SNP - A 'Family' At War
The SNP is at war with itself over Alex Salmond and their former leader's legacy.
No sooner has Salmond been buried than fresh allegations emerge which were reported previously and were known to the party's chief executive, Peter Murrell - Nicola Sturgeon's husband - so says an anonymous SNP source
The same anonymous source, a senior party insider, claims these allegations could not be investigated because Salmond was no longer an SNP member.
Baloney, of course.
Allegations like this are investigated by taking detailed statements, assessing the evidence and inviting an 'accused' person to respond - it really doesn't matter if they are no longer a member.
Yet this never happened which is doubly absurd for both the complainers and the person being denied a fair opportunity to answer the complaint.
So it all seems like another SNP mess - confirmation of the way the way party was run as the personal fiefdom of Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon.
