SNP - 'Cauld Kale Het Up'!

Just when you thought the SNP might be looking for new blood and fresh ideas the old guard throw their hat in the ring for the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections - presumably led by 'Caretaker John' Swinney.

Nicola Sturgeon was widely expected to stand down as she is rarely at Holyrood these days - she is focused on her £300,000 memoirs and has opened up a new private company.

Humza Yousaf was also expected to give up his Glasgow Pollok seat as he now lives on the other side of Scotland, in Dundee - Humza has also opened up a private company with his wife, Nadia.  

'Morocco Mike' Matheson was forced to resign in disgrace as SNP health minister, but somehow believes he has a chance of holding on to his Falkirk West seat.

Meanwhile Steven Flynn has announced his intention to abandon Westminster for Holyrood - if he can oust the sitting SNP Holyrood MSP, Audrey Nicoll.

What a hoot!
