- Criticizing Islam is a crime
- 'Same sex' relationships are a crime
- Non-Muslims can't become citizens
- The President, ministers, MPs, and judges must be Sunni Muslims
- Expressing religious beliefs other than Islam is a crime - punishable by prison
The Maldives is apparently 98.7% Muslim and 98.58% Sunni Muslim which speaks volumes about its 'diversity'.
