I'm sure Ricky Gervais will be disappointed at the mindless destruction of a park bench made famous by scenes from his great 'After Life' series.

But all this does is to reinforce Ricky's point about the unhinged behaviour of angry trans zealots and the 'cancel culture' brigade.

If you haven't done so already, do yourself a favour and tune in to Ricky Gervais' 'After Life' series on Netflix.

It's a comedy about love and death which sounds like an odd mix, but the cast and scriptwriting are terrific as they portray with brutal honesty the impact of unbearable grief on the human spirit.

And it's also got one of the best 'kick ass' soundtracks I've heard in a long time including this 1970s hit 'Lady Marmalade' by Patti La Belle.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
