Pregnant People?- No Comment!

The Scottish Sun on the row over the Scottish Government referring to 'pregnant people' rather than 'pregnant women' - another surreal development in the ongoing campaign to defend women's rights and single sex spaces.   

Interestingly, no one from the Scottish Government was available for comment.

  

A Midwife Speaks (July 28, 2021)

Georgina, a retired midwife with 30 years experience, keeps the Scottish Government right on the fact that only WOMEN can get pregnant. 

For some reason Nicola Sturgeon's government seems to be confused.

Pregnant People? (July 28, 2021)

The Scottish Government released a tweet yesterday which said:

"Over 55,000 pregnant people in England & Scotland have had the coronavirus vaccine"

Apart from the issue of speaking for NHS England, is this 'pregnant people' reference yet more evidence that Nicola Sturgeon has thrown her lot in with the Trans Taliban?

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
