Sex Matters - In Life, In Law!

The judgment in the landmark Maya Forstater case is not being appealed which is great news and another sign that the tide really is turning in the campaign to defend women's rights.

Sex matters - in life, in law!

Women in the Workplace (June 12, 2021

A thoughtful opinion piece from The Times in which Sarah Ditum asks some very valid questions about trade unions and women in the workplace.

"Well, the only people who have ever suggested that a victory for Forstater was a licence for abuse have been trans activists. The rest of the world is fully capable of believing sex is real while treating trans people with respect.'

"This affects both men and women but it’s undeniable that women tend to receive the worst aggression for questioning trans activism. Women also make up the majority of trade union members; and yet LGBT committees within unions have been able to impose policy that entirely fails to recognise the balance of rights between trans people and women. The end result is that, rather than protecting workers, unions seem more concerned to act as a provisional wing of Stonewall."

Some excellent points which ought to encourage a more rational, reasoned debate going forwards.
