Nicola Sturgeon says Glasgow immigration protest DIDN’T spark Covid outbreakhttps://t.co/rcINBL4oJG pic.twitter.com/ZAKxx1CqGs

Without any evidence to back up her claim Nicola Sturgeon insists the Kenmure Street protest did not contribute to Glasgow's recent spike in Covid cases.
"The Kenmure Street protest - the situation in Glasgow had started before that. One of the reasons I was so furious with what the Home Office did that day, was because they knew they were doing that in the midst of an increase in cases.
"That increase in cases had already started in Pollokshields. In fact the day before the Home Office protest, I with HUmza Yousaf and Anas Sarwar, went to Glasgow Central Mosque because it was the day before Eid, to say 'we've got rising cases in these populations, be really careful.
"So it's not the case that that started that, it was already underway."
Sounds to me like ministers are just making things up as they go along and to suit themselves.
Scottish Ministers - Comedy Duo (May 25, 2021)
Nicola and Humza are rapidly turning into a comedy act - they don't even try to restrict travel in or out of the Covid hotspots of Glasgow (including Govanhill and Pollokshields), yet pretend they have powers to fine Scots for travelling to three council areas in England.
Priorities are all wrong yet again.
