Anas Sarwar makes a very fair point about the need for the First Minister to make important announcements to MSPs in the Scottish Parliament - where ministers' decisions can be scrutinised questioned and challenged, if necessary.

Apparently lots of carers are still waiting on their £500 bonus which Nicola Sturgeon had the cheek to announce to an online SNP conference back in November 2020 - without consulting MSPs in the Scottish Parliament, the employers or the trade unions!
